How to measure
Tools: soft dressmaker’s tape, mirror, a pen. Measure on bare skin or very thin clothing.
How to hold the tape (6 rules)
-
Flat & level - keep the tape flat against skin, parallel to the floor for all around-body measurements.
-
Snug, not tight - pull until the tape just touches the skin; don’t compress.
-
Natural posture - stand tall, feet together, arms relaxed; don’t suck in your waist.
-
Breathe normally - take torso measurements at a natural exhale.
-
No twisting - check in a mirror that the tape is straight across front and back.
-
Double-check - take each measurement twice and note to the nearest ½″
Where to measure
Bust/Chest - tape around the fullest part.
Underbust - snug under the bust (for bra band).
Waist - narrowest point.
Hips - fullest part of the seat.
High hip - ~4" below waist.
Gloves - knuckle circumference across all fingers.
Measure standing, not sitting.
Don’t measure over bulky clothing.
Latex fits close. If you’re between sizes, prioritise waist.
Fit note (important)
-
Our patterns are drafted with a small built-in reduction (negative ease) to create the signature snug latex fit.
-
Give us your true body measurements - you do not need to reduce them yourself.
-
Between sizes? Most customers prefer the larger option for easier dressing. Choose the smaller only if you want an ultra-tight performance fit and you’re experienced dressing latex.

Notes for tall / petite
-
Stocking length: If your measurement sits between chart lengths, choose longer for a higher rise or shorter for a lower rise.
-
Body length (catsuits/bodies): Prioritise waist for sizing. If you’re tall/long-torso, consider one size up for extra body length. If petite/short-torso and between sizes, choose the smaller for a neater length.
